COGNOSCO was founded in 2007 by photographer Amelie von Oppen and merchant Christian von Oppen as a platform for contemporary architectural and urban photography. Following the motto "Life is colorful enough ," Amelie von Oppen focuses her work on analogue black-and-white photography. For example, she photographed building icons from more than 13 German cities. The image motifs are offered by the label COGNOSCO in various formats and processing forms: From the postcard, to the city magnets, to large-format framed images, aluminium prints as well as light boxes or kitchen back walls.
